How much hair do I need?

The answer will vary based on your individual preferences. Most people can use 2 bundles 16 inches or shorter. If you like your hair full, or longer than 16 inches, you will want at least 3 bundles.

Can I straighten wavy or curly textures?

Yes you can, however excessive heat may loosen up the original wave/curl pattern. Its important to use a heat protectant as well. This is human hair so it can become heat damaged just as your own. Also keep in mind that our natural hair can train itself to stay straight with continuous or excessive heat, so can extensions. Our suggestion is to not straighten curly textures, and if you prefer to wear it straight, but also like to wear it wavy, then the wavy textures will be best to give you versatility.

Does your hair shed?

Contrary to how most hair companies advertise "no shedding", unfortunately all hair sheds to some degree. L.N.B Beauty extensions has very minimal shedding. Sealing the wefts and proper installation will also help prevent shedding.

How is length of hair measured?

Straight hair is measured in its natural state, but our wavy and curly hair is measured when stretched out. When ordering wavy, you may consider ordering 2 inches longer to accommodate your desired length. When ordering curly hair, consider ordering 4-6 inches longer to accommodate your desired length.

What is co-washing?

Co-washing is when you wash your hair extensions only using conditioner. The conditioner is used to provide moisture, shine, and hydrates the hair.

Will my extensions become dry after coloring them?

Just as our natural hair needs extra attention after being chemically treated, so does extensions. You must be mindful to keep the hair hydrated and moisturized. We recommend having a professional stylist color them for you.
